About
Collaborating extensively with the creative teams and account handlers at McCann Central, my role involved crafting, designing, and developing weekly digital content for Vauxhall. While also being the main contact in the agency for digital best practise.
Additionally, I was tasked with transforming concepts to suit various platforms and channels as part of the broader campaigns. Adhering closely to Vauxhall's brand guidelines, I ensured a consistent and cohesive visual identity throughout the creative process.
Main challenges
Ensuring the design team’s work meets the studio’s artwork requirements and is tailored correctly for each platform or format.
Solution
Introduced a design export checklist to catch artwork issues early before they reached the studio, and worked closely with creative teams during concepting to reduce back and forth later in the design process.
This idea incorporates a play on words by merging "plan C" and "Corsa," coupled with the concept of altering plans and diverging from the usual.
Here's an example email design crafted using Adobe XD and After Effects, and constructed with Adobe Dreamweaver. I implemented Litmus within the studio team, along with an email artworking checklist, to ensure thorough testing, addressing previous instances of untested emails.
This above showcases a Facebook carousel, featuring the vibrant Vauxhall colour scheme and a sleek, minimalist design.
The storyboard serves as an efficient approval tool, enabling prompt feedback before proceeding to build in Google Web Designer.
